The notch configuration varies according to the applicable testing standard. The cutting width can be quickly adjusted using spacer blocks to meet different standard requirements. Different cutter types can be interchanged to meet various notch specifications. The cutting speed can also be adjusted according to the specimen material to minimize the effect of the cutting process on the specimen.
